At Choice Architecture
We pride ourselves on our professionalism and design ethos.
Our ability to connect with our clients is second to none and assists greatly in ensuring the best possible experience for all involved. We are a small but dedicated, tight knit company who work closely with our clients to ensure their design is one they can be truly proud of. Through creative planning, we can turn your dream into reality.
At Choice Architecture, variety is key. Whilst we get immense satisfaction completing big budget architectural homes, we believe it is important to never forget where we started, so lower budget spec homes are always welcome, and equal amounts of care and commitment is invested in these smaller projects. We also have countless experience with alterations and renovations. Working with existing dwellings can prove challenging, however we thrive on this, as it allows us to really showcase our design prowess. The gratification we get seeing the delight of our clients when they come to the realisation that their impractical existing floorplan can in fact be reworked into a beautiful, functional space, far outweighs any hurdles we may face.
Although we work predominantly on residential design, we also have experience in light commercial and investment properties such as multi units/apartments.
We offer a free, no obligation consultation to discuss your needs, which enables us to provide you with a quote tailored to your project and requirements. Whether you are a homeowner planning your dream home, or a builder/investor wanting to delve into your next spec project, we are here to help. With two Licensed Building Practitioners on board, you can be assured you are in good hands when you choose to work with
Choice Architecture.

“I had an idea for a project to replace a tired old house in Papanui with some townhouses to rent. I scribbled some ideas on paper and Choice Architecture transformed it into 3 fantastic homes with clever ideas and great solutions to tricky problems. They put in the extra time and were always available to discuss anything. I am supremely pleased with the result which has exceeded my expectations and which I put down directly to Choice Architecture’s work ethic and their great ideas. I would definitely recommend them and will return to them for my next project.”
